We strongly recommend that you book your hotel room sooner rather than later. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to offer the government per diem hotel rate once our room blocks are full. The earlier we know the need, the better chance we will have of adjusting our room blocks, if necessary.

The National Monitoring Conference has contracted discounted room blocks at 4 hotels in Virginia Beach. All are offering rooms at the GSA per diem rate. The conference will be held at the Virginia Beach Convention Center and the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Virginia Beach will serve as the anchor hotel for the conference.

  • Most on-beach hotels are not offering per diem rates for Friday night (Holiday Inn and Spring Hill) or a very limited number (Fairfield Inn).
  • A limited shuttle service will operate Monday through Friday between all hotels and the conference center.
  • All hotels offer at least one free parking space per room and there is free parking at the Convention Center for those planning to commute.
  • Note: On-beach hotels have smaller room blocks and very limited availability at government rate for Monday and Thursday nights. They can be booked at their regular rates for those non-peak conference nights (Saturday night pre-conference and Friday night post conference) that will be significantly higher than Government per Diem.
