Description
National governments assess lakes to evaluate the effects of water policy, to identify regional data patterns and trends, to determine funding priorities, and for other reasons. To gather these data at such a large scale requires that a representative sub-sample of lakes are assessed in a relatively quick timeframe at an affordable cost. In this issue of LakeLine, we explore how this is accomplished.
