Description
Natural shoreline vegetation provides a multitude of benefits – shoreline and lake bottom erosion protection, habitat for fish and other aquatic organisms, sediment and nutrient filtering, visual screening, Canada goose deterrent, and many others. These benefits are lost without the vegetative cover. With this issue, we provide the information to help persuade lakeshore residents of the virtues of natural shoreline vegetation.
