Our upcoming 42nd annual meeting to be held January 25-27, 2018 at the Hilton College Station and Conference Center in College Station, Texas. TCAFS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to:
The conservation, development and wise use of fisheries and aquatic resources, promotion of all branches of fisheries and aquatic sciences, and exchange and dissemination of knowledge about fishes, fisheries, and aquatic natural resources.

Each year, students and professionals are invited to submit abstracts for presenting oral presentations and posters that highlight fisheries projects and research. A major highlight of our meeting is to present talented students with scholarships as well as awards to fellow members for their achievements at our annual banquet. Other features of our meeting include continuing education sessions, a student-mentor luncheon for students to network with fisheries professionals, a small trade show, social, a raffle and auction following the banquet, chapter business meeting and more!
