Fewer than 15 spots remain on the cruise – register today to claim your spot!

Thursday, November 7th | buses load at 2:30 pm | on the water from 4:00-6:00 pm

Join NALMS on a sunset cruise to see one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, at the most beautiful time of day. During the NALMS 2024 International Symposium in Lake Tahoe, the host committee invites you to join them on Thursday evening for a trip to view the lake, from the lake and to watch the glorious Western sunset over the Sierra Nevada Mountains. NALMS will be taking a 2 hour cruise (transportation from the Tahoe Blue Center provided) on the M.S. Dixie II, a Paddle Wheeler brought in from the Mississippi River, leaving from Zephyr Cove, crossing the lake to picturesque Emerald Bay, while enjoying light refreshments and a cash bar. Experience Lake Tahoe as Mark Twain experienced it: “…the Lake burst upon us—a noble sheet of blue water lifted six thousand three hundred feet above the level of the sea and walled in by a rim of snow-clad mountain peaks that towered aloft full three thousand feet higher still!”

Transportation to the cruise will be provided; buses will begin loading at 2:30 pm. The Dixie will be on the water from 4:00-6:00 pm.

Sign up now, seating is limited to the first 300 attendees to register! Registration for the cruise is $20/person. You may sign up with your full conference registration, or separately using this registration form. Contact nalms2024@nalms.org with questions.
