The annual election for officers and directors is an important way for NALMS members to provide input in the management of the Society. Our officers and directors are all volunteers who serve without pay. The 2024 election for officers and directors is underway. Voting in the annual election is an important way for NALMS members to provide input in the management of the Society. Our officers and directors are all volunteers who serve without pay.

Even I, the Lakespert, was surprised to see pelicans hanging out in Colorado when I first started sampling lakes. I mean, most of the Midwest and all of Texas come to Colorado in the summer to enjoy the mountains and cooler temperatures. So, I guess it makes sense for pelicans to do the same.
