Description
The theme for this issue of LakeLine is “In-Lake and/or Watershed Management,” with the focus on exploring when it is appropriate to use one or the other approach at management, or both together or in sequence. This debate, or perhaps conundrum, is not new, but there has been some renewed focus on the subject of in-lake and/or watershed management of late and thus warranted a re-visit in LakeLine. In the following pages you will find articles that offer varying perspectives on the “and/or” aspect of the theme, as well as examples of when both or just one approach has been used, along with outcomes of varying approaches.
