Join us from 5-8pm to learn how to keep yourself and our lakes safe and then hit the water for a full moon paddle 8-10 pm. This is a great opportunity to paddle the lake at the Dry Brooks Day Use Area.

On June 2, 2022, NALMS was proud to take part in the Lakes Education/Action Drive, or LEAD, podcast! This episode was centered around Lakes Appreciation Month and featured one of our longtime volunteers, Steve Lundt.

Submitted artwork will be a big part of NALMS’ celebrations through July across North America. Show us your love for lakes by sending us your artwork!
Three posters will win a $300 cash prize!
Posters will be judged by grade range, with a winning poster in each division - elementary (grades K-4), middle (grades 5-8), and high school (9-12):

Libraries Love Lakes Info Session
July is Lakes Appreciation Month! Join us March 8th at 2 pm (Eastern Time) for a free, virtual information session to learn about an exciting initiative, Libraries Love Lakes, an outreach project pairing libraries with lake scientists to provide collaborative programming emphasizing the importance of lakes in our everyday lives.
