The California Lake Management Society wishes to support students studying in areas related to lake and reservoir limnology, ecology, or management and presents individual scholarships of up to $1250 annually.

The Indiana Lakes Management Society (ILMS) is pleased to announce that financial assistance is available through the ILMS Scholarship Donation/Silent Auction Fund to help meet the college tuition needs of two applicants for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Who is eligible?
Students who are currently enrolled (or planning to enroll) in Environmental Science, Aquatic Ecosystem or Watershed Management, or related undergraduate or graduate college-level classes.
Students who are attending an Indiana college or university.

NALMS Policy Internship
The intern will work with the NALMS Policy and Communications Committees to support the process of writing white papers and developing policy recommendations regarding the following topics:
Climate Change Impacts on Lake Ecosystems,
Lake Watershed Management,
Cyanobacteria Management, and
Urban Lake Management.

North American Lake Management Society Establishes New Student Scholarship Fund
MADISON, WI ‒ Due solely to the generosity and kindness of Life Member, Dr. Kenneth Reckhow, the North American Lake Management Society (NALMS) is pleased to announce the establishment of the Kenneth H. Reckhow Scholarship Fund.
With a unique tie-in to a NALMS tradition and Dr. Reckhow’s personal history with the Society, the scholarship winners will be directly linked with an event that occurs each year at the NALMS annual symposium. Beginning with the 2021 Clean Lakes Classic 5K Run/Walk, one female and one male graduate student participant in the event will be randomly selected to receive $500 for use toward their education.

North American Lake Management Society Announces 2020 Student Award Winners
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Each year, NALMS presents student awards to the best student presentation and best student poster at the annual NALMS symposium. The awards are named in memory of Jody Connor, a long-time friend of NALMS who was active on the Education Committee and participated in the reviews of student presentations and posters.

Each year NALMS presents student awards to the best student presentation and best student poster at the annual NALMS symposium. The awards are sponsored by SUNY Oswego. The NALMS Board renamed the student award as the Jody Connor Student Award in memory of Jody Connor, a long-time friend of NALMS who was active on the Education Committee and participated in the reviews of student presentations and posters.
